Just as commercial holidays are mere excuses to sell a lot of worthless and/or diabetes-inducing shit, so are Newgrounds days mere excuses to flood the portal with - and pass - a lot of worthless Flash that nobody will care about in two days.

When 90% of the material submitted here sucks so fucking hard? How do I NOT be an asshole to somebody making yet another horrible, worthless sprite fighting movie with absolutely no pretense of originality or even effort? To people who can't even find it worthwhile to at least attempt to record voices, and instead replace it with text dialog that looks like it was written by a developmentally-challenged fourth grader who watches nothing but anime?

Yeah, I don't have my own record to stand on here, and my own animation skills aren't anywhere near on par with guys like Adam Phillips or Michael Swain - that is, guys who actually know what the fuck they're doing - but I know when something I'm working on is crap. I mean, just take a look at the early Blockhead toons. The animation is by no means great, but he tried. That's the key word here: TRY. Don't submit something that you have to know somewhere inside your deluded little head is BAD. Stick movies SUCK. Frame by frame line movies SUCK. Sprite movies FUCKING SUCK. Yes, Super Mario Bros Z SUCKS. HARD.

IF YOU AREN'T WILLING TO TRY TO CREATE SOMETHING WORTHWHILE, SPARE US THE PILE OF SHIT THAT YOU'RE INEVITABLY GOING TO PRODUCE.
